Are you coming to Beale Street on a Sunday or Monday and wondering, “Is anything going to be open?”
After visiting Memphis many times, here's my answer:
Beale Street is open on Sundays. While some clubs might have quieter moments on Sunday and Monday, there's always live music spilling into the streets. Many bars and restaurants, including BB King's and Rum Boogie, have live music every night. Most places on Beale Street seize every opportunity to be open, ensuring a fun atmosphere daily, regardless of when you visit.
My advice is: if your only option is to visit on Sunday, come on down! Beale Street never closes. It may not be as lively as the Thursday – Saturday crowd, but it's a special place and won't disappoint.
Enjoy!
