Hi, I'm Alex Hawker
Originally from Australia, Nashville's been home since 2012. I fell in love with Britt Chambers when I visited in 2009. We were engaged in less than three months and married in less than 12 months, right here at the Scarrit Bennet Center in Nashville. We now have two boys, Sterling and Finn.
After 11 years in the vibrant Tennessee scene and with connections to the Musicians Hall of Fame through my late father-in-law, Joe Chambers, I've seen the city's wonders from a unique lens. Whether it's exploring as a family or understanding Nashville's appeal, my experiences offer a distinct perspective.
Where it all started…
In 2016, I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a technology and business degree. After graduation, I worked in downtown Nashville for the Hospital Corporation of America. I still work in technology today for a medical education company.
Being creative and tech-savvy led me to help my late father-in-law, Joe Chambers, build the Musicians Hall of Fame website and edit videos for the museum's YouTube channel.
Joe was a successful Nashville songwriter and producer, working with the biggest artists of his era. Ask me one day to tell you some of the stories he told me! You won't believe what I learned.
Living and working in Nashville gave me a local's knowledge and insight.
