1. AJ's Good Time Bar
AJ's is one of the most famous bars in Nashville. It was founded by country music superstar Alan Jackson. AJ's is popular with visitors and locals and is housed in the oldest building on Broadway.
It has 3 floors with live music on each, and each floor tells a unique story about Alan Jackson's career.
Insider Tip:
If you're chasing real Nashville, AJ's Good Time Bar offers it. For the love of country music, it's a mecca. It's truly one of those rare finds that features only country tunes.
A.J.'s is never too crowded, giving you an opportunity to have a more fun-filled and intimate evening where you can feel at home and tap into the Nashville vibe as much as you like. It is a great place to go to on any visit to the city, and after you've been once, you'll know why it is easy to find yourself back there again.
2. Kid Rock's Big Ass Honky Tonk
Kid Rock's honky-tonk needs no introduction. His mega, four-story high monument to all types of music is a hard-hitting, fun, rockin' vibe at all hours of the day.
Insider Tip:
It's a lively, two-story bar with live bands and offers a music selection of mostly '90s playlists. The prices of drinks here are just a little bit higher than the downtown ones; craft beers start at $9. The bar had very good onion rings for $6, very fast service, and friendly bartenders.
An unconventional thing to such an area is a song auction, where patrons get to place bids on the type of song that plays next. They were quite popular among the visitors who wanted to enjoy the city's nightlife, for the place had open windows viewing onto Broadway and the high energy of that bar.
There's a high chance you'll see Kid Rock himself or any number of other celebrities.
3. Luke's 32 Bridge
Luke Bryan's huge, multi-level bar and restaurant occupies an entire corner of Broadway. The building used for The American National Bank.
Luke's is an easy place to sit and enjoy your food and drink with a spacious first-floor area with live music that perfectly captures the city's vibe.
Insider Tip:
Start the night at Luke's on the first floor with a selection of beer and liquor from among their live bands. For cocktail lovers, a visit to the second floor might be a must. The second floor hosts a strong cocktail menu in a lively setting.
Don't miss the generously portioned, delicious nachos or the divine rack of ribs that pair perfectly with a fine whiskey. And then there's the gift shop at the museum and the rooftop—all a must-see.

4. Ole Red
Ole Red is Blake Shelton's bar. It's a restaurant and bar on multiple levels. Shelton is quoted as saying that “people are going to have a good time as soon as they walk in the door”.
It has three levels, the lower level which has the main stage, middle and rooftop.
Insider Tip:
The food at Ole Red never disappoints. Try the Honky-Tonk Crispy Chicken Salad, Trash Talkin' Taco Salad, or the Oklahoma Onion Burger.
On each floor, you'll find displays, records, photos, and live music. Make sure you check out the breathtaking rooftop view.

5. Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa
Casa Rosa really pops on Broadway with the Miranda Lambert touch: bright and kitschy in style and great with the Mexican food. Each of the floors is done with a strong, country vibe: casual dining on the second floor, fun dancing on the third-floor dance floor, and the rooftop.
Insider Tip:
Choose sweet corn fritters and a chicken casa burrito. Mama's Broken Heart, an interesting twist on the classic Cadillac Margarita, pairs well with all that spicy flavor.
Enjoy a dine-in rooftop margarita or take it to the dance area on the third floor—complete with Miranda's “pink gun powder and lead” ambiance. Try the Nashville Hot Tacos and a different Blueberry Margarita that comes in a souvenir cup to take home.

6. Jason Aldean's Kitchen & Rooftop Bar
Perfect for anyone coming to Nashville, who would love to experience great dining together with live music. A prime location with downtown views from the rooftop, the menu features a number of tasty offerings and is one of the most favorite hotspots among locals and visitors.
Insider Tip:
Secure a spot at Jason Aldean's to enjoy great live bands that are happy to play crowd-pleasers like Taylor Swift hits.
Start with the recommended starter of Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip, served with crisp kettle chips. It's just right to crunch over the chip when enjoying the drink, “Drowns The Whiskey,” very similar to an Espresso Martini.
Last but not least, the Chicken & Waffles come with a one-of-a-kind spicy pecan maple syrup.

7. Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk
The newly opened honky-tonk by Garth Brooks has a bar that covers three floors, which gives you three different vantage points and atmospheres for watching the show.
Insider Tip:
While it still has some problems with how slow the service at the bar is, Friends in Low Places now comes in great state set that captures the charm of Garth Brooks. Maybe that inconvenience is worth some of the best cheeseburgers in town. Note: The food and drink prices here are slightly overpriced, but the portions are doubled or tripled, which makes it a very good offer.

8. Twelve Thirty Club
Justin Timberlake’s 12/30 club bar has one of the best rooftop bars on Broadway, where you can get an awesome weekend brunch and dance to a live DJ.
The main floor has great food and specialty cocktails. The food is more like upmarket dinner food (rather than greasy bar food).
There are also a lot of visits from Justin Timberlake, so you’ll never know when you’ll get to see him live.
