I asked Nashville visitors where to find a good hotel around $150 a night, and the responses were eye-opening. Turns out, finding something in that price range downtown is tough — but there are plenty of solid options if you're willing to stay a bit outside the action.

Holiday Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt
This one came up more than once. It's got a shuttle that'll drop you right on Broadway whenever you want to go, and it's across from Centennial Park if you want to check that out. The shuttle service is a big deal — you won't have to worry about parking downtown or paying for Ubers every time you want to head out.

Drury Inn (Downtown)
The Drury sits just a couple blocks from Broadway, so you can walk pretty much everywhere. People love this place because it's clean, safe, and close to everything. One visitor mentioned paying around $215 a night in September, which includes two meals a day and three alcoholic drinks per person. That's a pretty good deal when you add up what you'd spend on breakfast and drinks anyway.
Park your car there and don't move it until you leave. Walk when you can, Uber when it's too far.

MetroCenter Hotels
Home2 Suites by Hilton, Residence Inn by Marriott, and Fairfield Inn all sit about three miles from Broadway. They offer free breakfast and shuttles to Broadway. These are good middle-ground options — not right downtown, but close enough that getting there isn't a hassle.

Holiday Inn Downtown Stadium
This one's interesting. They had free parking until December 2025 and run a free shuttle to Printers Alley. Lyfts from Broadway back to the hotel run about $8-$10. Rooms were around $250 a night including taxes, which is over your budget, but you can add hot breakfast for an extra fee. Keep in mind that parking downtown can get really expensive, so free parking saves you a chunk of money.
