Budget-Friendly Nashville Hotels Near Broadway AND The Zoo (Under $140!)

I asked Nashville visitors for hotel recommendations that hit a sweet spot — close to both Broadway and the zoo, under $140 per night, and without crazy parking fees. Turns out, finding that perfect middle ground between downtown and the zoo is totally doable if you know where to look.

Holiday Inn Express Metro Center

This one came up multiple times for good reason. It's about 10 minutes to Broadway and 20 minutes to the zoo, with free parking (which is huge). The hotel is only 4-5 years old, so everything's still fresh and clean. Plus, you're right near the Germantown neighborhood with tons of food options within walking distance.

Hyatt House Nashville/Vanderbilt

Someone suggested checking this spot in a nice area with restaurants you can actually walk to. The Vanderbilt location puts you in a safe, convenient part of town without the downtown hotel prices.

Hyatt Place Nashville/Franklin/Cool Springs

This Franklin location runs around $97 per night before taxes and fees. It's about 19 minutes to downtown Broadway and 18 minutes to the zoo, so you're basically equidistant from both. You get free parking, free WiFi, and a seasonal outdoor pool.

Hampton Inn Ashland City

One visitor scored a rate of $125 per night here, and it's just 22 minutes to Broadway. Ashland City sits northwest of Nashville, so you're looking at a similar drive time to the zoo.

Holiday Inn Express by Opryland

The Music Valley area near Opry Mills offers cheaper rates than downtown. You're about 20 minutes to Broadway, and the drive to the zoo is manageable. The Holiday Inn Express out here typically offers free parking and breakfast.

Drury Inn Nashville Airport

This location offers free parking, which already saves you money. The airport area hotels generally run cheaper than downtown, and you're still only 15-20 minutes from Broadway depending on traffic.

Best Western Music Row

This place has character — it's right in the Music Row area. Parking runs $25 per day, but one visitor asked them to waive it and they did. Worth a shot if you're friendly about it.

The Gallatin in East Nashville

A no-frills option with free parking. East Nashville puts you close to downtown without the downtown prices, and the zoo is a reasonable drive south.
