I’m Alex Hawker, the creator of Nashville To Do and a long-time Nashville local. Originally from Australia, I first visited in 2009 and was instantly drawn to the city’s energy, creativity, and sense of community. By 2012, I had made Nashville my home, and over the years, I’ve explored it from every angle—its music, food, history, and hidden gems.
With a degree in technology and business from Middle Tennessee State University, I’ve spent my career working in digital media and tech. That background led me to help build the Musicians Hall of Fame’s online presence, deepening my connection to the city's music history. It also gave me the skills to create Nashville To Do, a place where I share insider knowledge to help visitors and locals experience the best of Music City.
Whether you’re planning a trip or just looking for something new, my goal is to make Nashville feel more accessible, more exciting, and more like home. Thanks for stopping by—I hope you find something here that makes your time in the city unforgettable!
