Her farm, Gigi's Lavender Farm & Nursery, sits on Bidwell Road in Joelton, Tennessee — about 20 minutes north of Nashville — and has become one of the most quietly influential lavender operations in the American South.

The nursery serves as an exclusive Southeast source for Peace Tree Farm's hybrid varieties, including Phenomenal® and Sensational® — both evergreen lavender cultivars bred to resist the humidity-driven root rot that has discouraged Southern growers for decades.
Beyond the Farm
De Lugo has used her expertise to help build an entire regional industry. She has assisted in establishing more than 30 lavender farms across the South and founded The Lavender Exchange, an alliance that provides technical support and resources to other lavender farmers in the region. She also offers private consultations for anyone looking to start their own lavender operation.
The farm produces a range of artisan goods as well, including dried lavender bouquets, sachet bags, DIY kits, and culinary lavender pepper seasoning. One of its more distinctive products is ZWave Mg, a patent-pending topical magnesium spray made with lavender hydrosol, marketed for muscle recovery and pain relief. Most products are available for shipping within the U.S. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
