Top 10 Restaurants with Live Music In Nashville

If you've just arrived in Nashville and are looking for a perfectly curated list of the best places to eat and enjoy Nashville's live music scene – you've come to the right place!

In Nashville, there is live music in almost every bar and restaurant. There is even live music at the airport. Not only is there music everywhere, it's the best you'll hear in the world.

Now, let's talk about the food at the live music joints. It only sometimes matches the quality of the musicians on the stage.

In this post, we have carefully curated the restaurants that serve great music and great eats. We're not talking about a lousy bologna sandwich. Instead, we're talking steak, seafood, cajun food, salads from locally sourced ingredients, cocktails, craft beers from local distilleries, pecan pie, and more. For a guide on what to wear during your night out, check out : Nashville Bar Scene: What to Wear.

We covered the Nashville bars with the best live music in another post. However, this post is strictly about food and music.

What's your favorite restaurant with live music in Nashville? Let me know in the comments!

John A's is family owned and has been a Nashville staple for decades. Located on Music Valley Drive, just a 15-minute drive from downtown Nashville, it's a favorite spot of locals. They are open for brunch, lunch, and dinner seven days a week and boast the world's best catfish! Their food is southern-inspired so expect some comforting food like hot dogs, BLTs, and pork sandwiches. See their menu here.

They always have a long lineup of talented artists; see the upcoming entertainers here.

Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row

Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row is a honky-tonk located on 4th Ave and Broadway. It's right in the middle of the historic lower Broadway strip, meaning it's easy to access if you stay downtown for a show.

It's a three-story building with a rooftop bar with stunning views of the Nashville skyline.

They serve American gourmet cuisine. You'll find delicious hamburgers, chicken, waffles, or fettuccine, among other southern comfort dishes.

They are open seven days a week from the morning until 3 am. There is live music on every floor, and visitors constantly rave about how great it is.
It's a great place to sit and eat while you enjoy the music or get onto the dancefloor! Learn more here.

Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar

Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar has incredible music in the historic Printers Alley. The Alley is only a short walk from the bright lights of lower Broadway. Click here for a list of upcoming artists. They are open 7 days a week and have featured musicians like James Brown and B.B. King.

They serve authentic Cajun and Creole food and have a full bar with signature cocktails.

When in Nashville, it's nice to sit down and enjoy a show with great food close to the stage. That's what you can expect from Bourbon Street Blues. So we suggest you make a reservation.

3rd & Lindsley

3rd and Lindsley is just a short walk from the Country Music Hall of Fame. They feature an extensive menu that includes southern comfort food like quesadilla chili, Gumbo, Chicken Baja salad, and more. They have a large selection of wine and beers to accompany the food.

Big, well-known names have played here, including Vince Gill and Steve Wariner, but you'll find everything from country to rock. Learn more here.

Acme Feed & Seed

Acme Feed & Seed is Nashville's most-visited and Instagrammed restaurant. They have an excellent Instagram account. The name comes from what the building was originally used for: a feed and seed farm store. Each floor is different. You can get something to eat on the first floor and see a show. You can also watch a live broadcast of Acme Radio. On the second floor, you can enjoy craft cocktails and sushi. Believe it or not, fish is sent overnight from Hawaii! Lastly, there is a rooftop bar where you can enjoy the sun and drinks; it's the perfect spot to enjoy a sunset. Learn more here.

Luke's 32 Bridge Food + Drink

Luke Bryan's honky-tonk on lower Broadway prides itself on its music. When the bar opened about four years ago, he said he wanted it to be a good country music fan experience. It's a fun element, Bryan says, for tourists “to be able to connect with some of their favorite artists.”

You'll also be able to find a table with some good eats. It has 6 levels, eight bars, three stages, and a restaurant. The menu includes southern favorites like pulled pork, BBQ chips, Salmon, Nashville Hot Chicken, and Luke's specialty, the Elk Burger.

There's never any shortage of great music on all three floors of the honky-tonk.

The Hampton Social is steps away from Broadway and features live acoustic music. They are open seven days a week with coastal-inspired food. In addition, within the 3 floors, you'll find a rooftop bar and a “Rosé All Day” lounge. They are open for lunch, brunch, and dinner; click here to see the menu.

It's a relatively new restaurant in Nashville that some have called the “Rose Capital of Nashville.” They are known for their Instagram look.

They have beautiful hand-crafted cocktails and burgers. We recommend starting off with these.

Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville

Located on lower Broadway, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville is a great place to sit and people-watch in Nashville. The live music is always enjoyable, and the staff is warm and accommodating.

The food and live music always get rave reviews. The fried pickles, cheese grits, and shrimp are excellent – I highly recommend them. They have a vast menu which you can check out here.

This could be your place if you are in the mood for a party. Unfortunately, the music from both the inside and outside makes it hard to have a conversation. Depends on what your mood is for the night!
