If you're visiting Nashville soon and you're a fan of Kid Rock, there's a new spot downtown that might catch your eye.
What’s Happening
Starting May 5, Kid Rock is opening a new steakhouse called The Detroit Cowboy. It's set up in the North Gulch area, right at 500 11th Avenue North, where Joe Muer Seafood used to be. This new restaurant blends a traditional steakhouse menu with a modern, high-energy vibe inspired by Kid Rock’s hometown of Detroit.
The place is backed by the Joe Vicari Restaurant Group, who ran Joe Muer before the switch. According to FOX 17 Nashville, the new restaurant aims to bring together Motor City style and Southern flavor for something a little different in downtown Nashville.
Why It Matters
Nashville has seen a wave of celebrity-owned spots lately, especially around Broadway and the Gulch. But Detroit Cowboy stands out by mixing steakhouse classics with Kid Rock’s signature rock-and-roll edge. Whether you're here for the food, the music, or just curious about the vibe, it’s designed to feel loud, lively, and uniquely Kid Rock.
