When I asked recent Nashville visitors where they stayed near Broadway, the answers came in fast — and people did not hold back. After sorting through everything, these were the ten hotels that locals and visitors mentioned most. Each one sits within walking distance of the honky-tonks, with quick notes on what people actually liked (and didn’t).

1. Hilton (Downtown + Bakers Alley Variants)
The Hilton came up more than anything else. Guests liked being just a couple of minutes from Broadway and close to spots on Second Ave. People described it as their go-to downtown pick. Parking, however, wasn’t talked about as a perk.

2. Moxy
If you want to roll out of bed and land straight on Broadway, several people said this is the closest hotel to the action. The trade-off? Noise. A few guests warned that you’ll hear the fun until around 2–3 a.m., so light sleepers might struggle.

3. Drury Plaza
Drury fans were enthusiastic. Short walk, “great location,” and the free evening food and drinks came up more than once. No one mentioned free parking, though.

4. Renaissance
Guests called out the solid location, especially for getting to Broadway without much effort. Another traveler also suggested it again when comparing parking options, saying it was worth the Lyft or Uber if needed.

5. Hyatt Place
One person mentioned staying here and enjoying the convenience, and someone else followed up by asking for more experiences, which tells you it’s definitely on people’s radar. It’s walkable and simple, but no one claimed it offered free parking.

6. Margaritaville
This one showed up in a list of downtown picks that people felt good about recommending. Bonus points: one commenter said you get free breakfast here.

7. Omni
Dropped in the same batch as the Hilton and Margaritaville, and noted as an easy walk to Broadway. No complaints shown, just a confident recommendation.

8. Embassy Suites Downtown
Recommended as one of the walkable choices already mentioned by others. Someone made it clear, though — parking isn’t free.

9. Hampton Inn & Suites
Another walkable pick, bundled with the same group of dependable downtown hotels. Guests liked the location, but again, nobody reported free parking.
