Starting November 6, Gaylord Opryland’s ICE! attraction will turn scenes from Home Alone into frozen rooms, tunnels and slides. The resort says the display uses two million pounds of ice.
You’ll get a blue winter parka to explore it. But the ticket doesn’t cover everything you might picture in an Opryland Christmas outing.
For a family of four, admission is only part of the cost. Parking, tubing and hot chocolate can add to the bill.
Here’s what you’re actually buying.
Kevin’s House Gets the Deep Freeze
ICE! featuring “Home Alone” runs November 6, 2026, through January 2, 2027, at the Gaylord Opryland Events Center.
This is the first Home Alone edition of ICE!, part of the resort’s 43rd annual A Country Christmas celebration. The attraction itself debuted at Opryland in 2001.
The announced scenes follow Kevin through some of the movie’s most familiar moments: the mannequin party, the aftershave incident, his battle plan against the Wet Bandits and the family reunion.
Beyond the movie scenes, the resort has announced five ice slides, crawl-through passages, tunnels and a clear-ice Nativity display.
Live carving demonstrations offer a look at how the sculptures take shape.
Gaylord describes a team of 40 artisans from Harbin, China, working for roughly six weeks with a 300-page design book. Sculptors also remain onsite for maintenance and demonstrations.
What Your ICE! Ticket Actually Includes
A standard ICE! ticket covers the themed ice environments, the slides inside the exhibit and use of a blue winter parka.
You can take personal photos throughout the displays. Tripods and additional lighting are prohibited.
Most guests spend 20–40 minutes inside, though there is no fixed touring limit. Admission is single-entry: once you leave, you cannot re-enter on the same ticket.
Separate Pinetop ice tubing, parking and hot chocolate are not included. The ice slides within ICE! and the tubing attraction are different activities, with different participation rules.
If your family mainly wants to see Kevin’s house and try the exhibit slides, standard admission covers that visit.

What a Family of Four Could Spend
The official booking page checked November 2, 2026, listed these prices for November 6, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. CST:
| Guest | Displayed admission price |
|---|---|
| Adult, ages 12 and older | $36.38 |
| Child, ages 4–11 | $26.38 |
| Child, ages 3 and younger | Free |
These are prices for that specific session, rather than a season-wide minimum or a final checkout quote. Guests under 18 must attend with a paid adult.
Two adults and two children ages 4–11 would pay $125.52 in admission at those displayed prices.
Standard self-parking is listed at $37 plus tax. Add that to admission, and the example reaches $162.52 before parking tax and any additional ticket charges. Valet is listed at $55 plus tax.
Day visitors pay for parking per entry.
A separate prepaid parking offer advertises savings of up to 20%. It is date-specific, single-use and nonrefundable, and normally directs visitors to the Nutcracker Lot, with an alternate lot if needed. It does not apply to overnight guests.
The November 6, 1:30 p.m. session is the example above. Other dates and times are available through the ICE! booking calendar.
Day-guest ICE! tickets are listed as nonrefundable. Exchanges may be possible if requested before the booked visit, subject to availability and any price difference. Review the ticket terms before choosing your date.
When the Silver or Gold Pass Makes Sense
Want tubing, gingerbread decorating and a scavenger hunt along with the ice sculptures?
The Silver Pass includes ICE!, ice tubing, the Secret Santa Scavenger Hunt and Gingerbread Decorating Corner. It advertises savings of up to 20%.
The Gold Pass includes those four activities, plus ice skating and hot chocolate in a souvenir cup. Its advertised savings reach up to 30%.
The cirque show and prepaid parking are optional selections on the Gold purchase page. They should not be counted as automatic inclusions. Coupon codes do not apply to passes.
Three December Dates Offer Local Savings
Eligible Middle Tennessee residents have another option.
Nashville Nights lists December 1, 8 and 15, 2026, with up to 50% off ICE! and the cirque show.
The offer covers residents of Davidson County and adjoining Cheatham, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson counties. Resident ID is required.
Use code NASHNIGHT26. The advertised discount is “up to” 50%; the price depends on your selected visit.
On those Nashville Nights dates, eligible residents can also receive free hot chocolate and one free scavenger-hunt book per family at Magnolia Portico from 6–8 p.m., with resident ID required. These are separate resident-offer perks; standard ICE! admission does not include hot chocolate.

What to Wear, Slide Rules and Accessibility
The resort supplies parkas from infant sizes through adult 4XL. Bring warm clothing, hats and gloves as well.
Closed-toe shoes are required for the slides. The exhibit’s walking paths are carpeted.
For the exhibit slides, visitors must climb the stairs independently. Children under four or shorter than 40 inches may use only the children’s slide, provided they can climb independently.
Infants and visitors who cannot climb independently cannot ride.
Pinetop tubing requires riders to be at least 42 inches tall, carry their tube up the ramp independently and maintain the required riding position. Its ticket allows repeated rides that day while the wristband remains valid.
The exhibit is listed as wheelchair accessible, but its slides are not. Gaylord also publishes slide-related health cautions involving pregnancy, recent surgery, heart or breathing difficulties and musculoskeletal problems.
Visitors using oxygen should ask about the cold environment before purchasing; the operator cautions that it may affect oxygen-tank functionality. For access questions, call 615-889-1000.
Small strollers are allowed if they do not impede traffic; double or oversized strollers and wagons are prohibited. There is no dedicated stroller parking.
What an Overnight Package Adds
The ICE! Experience Package includes a room night and two to five single-entry ICE! tickets; the quantity depends on the selected package. SoundWaves admission is excluded. The separate Chill & Thrill Package adds SoundWaves.
Overnight guests with ICE! reservations receive front-of-line benefits through the Chill Pass, which does not replace admission. Taxes, resort fees and parking can increase the quoted stay cost.
Your First Visit to ICE! at Opryland
Address: Gaylord Opryland Events Center, 2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville, TN 37214.
Buy tickets online in advance through the ICE! booking calendar. There is no onsite box office, and the queue opens at your ticketed time. Late arrivals must request reassignment, which depends on availability.
Allow time for parking, walking and traffic beyond the estimated 20–40 minutes inside. The access road is shared with the neighboring mall.
Busy-date resort access also needs attention. After 3 p.m. CT, access is guaranteed only for overnight guests and ticket-reservation holders on Fridays and Saturdays beginning November 20, plus November 23–26 and December 18–31.
Prepaid parking alone does not meet that requirement.
Holiday table-service reservations are restricted to overnight guests.
If you live in Davidson County or one of the six eligible neighboring counties, compare the December 1, 8 and 15 Nashville Nights offer before booking.
