A 150-Night Cruise Will Circle the Globe

Crystal Cruises is offering a roundtrip voyage from Florida in 2028 that spans 84 ports across 39 countries and six continents

A luxury cruise departing Fort Lauderdale in January 2028 will take passengers from the Caribbean to French Polynesia, across Asia, through the Suez Canal, and into the Mediterranean before returning to Florida 150 nights later — all without ever leaving the same ship.

Crystal Cruises announced the voyage aboard its Crystal Symphony, which will set sail on January 11, 2028, and return to Fort Lauderdale on June 10, 2028. Prices start at $69,000 per person based on double occupancy.

Where the Ship Is Going

The itinerary reads like a greatest-hits list of global travel.

After leaving Florida, the ship will pass through the Panama Canal and head into the South Pacific, with stops in Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Fiji. By March, it will reach New Zealand, Australia, and Bali before continuing into Southeast Asia, where guests can visit Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, India, and Sri Lanka.

The ship will then sail through the Red Sea, offering visits to Petra in Jordan and Luxor in Egypt, before transiting the Suez Canal. Once in the Mediterranean, the itinerary includes stops in Italy, Spain, Malta, Greece, and Tunisia.

The final stretch crosses the Atlantic, with port calls in the Azores and Bermuda, before the ship arrives back in Fort Lauderdale.

In total, the voyage covers 84 ports in 39 countries across six continents.

What's Included

The base fare covers a significant package of perks. Passengers receive a business class airfare allowance or credit, $1,500 in onboard credit, unlimited dining at three specialty restaurants, private transfers, complimentary laundry service, and an initial onboard medical visit.

Shore excursions will be curated in partnership with Abercrombie & Kent, a luxury travel company and sister brand to Crystal Cruises.

What Crystal Is Saying

Fernando Barroso de Oliveira, Crystal's Chairman and Brand Ambassador, framed the voyage as a step beyond previous world cruise offerings.

“The 2028 World Cruise will be unlike anything we've done before — not just in the destinations we'll be visiting, but in the way we're curating every moment onboard and ashore,” he said. “From overnight stays in the world's most iconic ports to new immersive experiences designed exclusively for Crystal guests, we're setting a new standard for luxury exploration.”

Crystal currently operates two ships and is considered one of the higher-end brands in the luxury cruise market.
