NASHVILLE, TN – Music history came alive at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum on Wednesday as legendary drummer Ringo Starr made a special appearance for the exclusive unveiling of his “Beats & Threads” exhibit.
The exhibit, sponsored by Julien’s Auctions, showcases an extraordinary selection of Starr’s drum kits, sticks, snares, personal documents, and distinctive fashion pieces that have defined decades of rock and roll history. In a touching moment, Starr cut the ceremonial ribbon, officially opening the exhibit and sharing his excitement about the project.
“Beats & Threads” Opens to the Public
Following the private event, the “Beats & Threads” exhibit will officially open its doors to the public on Thursday, February 20. Fans and music enthusiasts can purchase tickets to experience this one-of-a-kind collection at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum, located at 401 Gay St, Nashville, TN. Tickets are available at the door or online.
In addition to the exhibit, limited-edition hardcover books featuring the showcased items will be available exclusively at the museum and online through Julien’s Auctions, offering collectors and fans a chance to own a piece of this historic event.
The drum kit on display was used on the Beatles first Shea Stadium concert which took place August 15, 1965. Ringo is particularly fond of this kit, calling it the Shea kit.
